Transition
Our on site pre school facility aims to enable children to experience a seamless transition into school and prepares them for school life.
Before your child begins at Maiden Beech Primary Academy, they will have the opportunity to be visited in their current childcare setting. They will be invited onto the school site to explore their surroundings and meet their new teachers and peers. When they begin at Maiden Beech Primary Academy, a staggered start timetable will allow your child to settle with ease in a positive manner. A home visit will also take place to allow each child to share their home identity with school and to provide time for an informal meeting with families.
Permissions
We are conscious of our environment and are taking steps to become more sustainable. One way we hope to do this is by reducing our use of paper. We are instead using electronic means of communicating for our newsletter, about trips and visits, and for permission and consent forms. Below are the current permission and consent forms in use that you may need to complete. If you have any questions, then please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
